BOTANICAL NAME: Psidium guajava L.

Antibacterial and antifungal properties: the infusion can be effective in eliminating fungi and bacteria that cause discomfort in the throat, nose and ears; intestine; Urinary tract; mouth. They are astringent, meaning they are useful for treating diarrhea. Used to relieve digestive problems (including diarrhea), pain, high blood pressure, inflammation, fever, cough and asthma, among several other ailments.
